Victoria's Thetis Lake Regional Park is a lake, beach and woodland park located in the area of Langford - View Royal which is situated north of the City of Victoria, British Columbia (B.C.), Canada.

The Thetis Lake area was established as Canada`s first nature sanctuary in 1958 and then recognized as a regional park in 1993. The 834 hectare (2060 acre) park is a combination of lake, forest and wetland eco systems.  The highlights of the park is the public beach and the many kilometres of multi purpose trails which are popular for hiking, biking and horseback riding. Not all trails are authorized for all activities, so plan accordingly to what activity is permitted per each trail.

Some who visit do not realize that Thetis Lake Park is not 1 but 2 lakes - Upper and Lower Thetis Lakes. Both lakes enjoy a sandy beach, boat launch, day use picnic area and change rooms. Upper and Lower Thetis Lakes are popular activity destinations for swimming, fishing and canoeing. However, make note there are  no life guards in this park.

For the fishing enthusiasts both lakes are stocked with rainbow trout. Only non -motorized boats and electric motor boats are permitted on the lakes. All who fish must have a fishing permit as well.

Most of the popular recreation trails hug the shoreline of the two lakes. There are a few other trails which lead away from the lake and climb up to a summit which provides some far reaching views over the lakes.  The two most popular elevation hikes are the trails leading up Seymour Hill (141 m elevation) and Scafe Hill (231 m). The elevation hikes up to the summits are challenging.  The other main trails in the park include the Trillium, Lower Thetis Lake, Upper Thetis Lake, McKenzie Creek, Seaborn, Bellamy, Craigflower Creek, Panhandle and Stewart Mtn (271 m) Trails.

On the back end of the park there are trails providing visitors an option to connect with the trails in the Francis King Regional Park. And near the entrance of the park the trails connect to a very popular biking route known as the Galloping Goose Trail.
