Star Lake is located near the community of Gold River, BC on Vancouver Island, Canada. The small lake is a recreation destination situated in the backcountry forests south of the community. The lake is popular for canoeing, swimming, picnicking and fishing. Fish of choice when fishing the lake is trout.

The amenties onsite include a few picnic tables, pit toilet and a roof top boat launch. Some of the picnic tables enjoy a great view of the lake. And many have a fire pit. On the lake is a floating pier for swimming and canoeing.

How To Get ToStar Lake - Gold River

How to Get Here: First travel to the community of Campbell River on Vancouver Island on Hwy #1. On the north end of Campbell River take a right and head west on the Gold River Highway to the community of Gold River, BC, Canada. In Gold River travel south on Ucona Road for about 5.5 kilometres to the entrance of Star Lake.
