Discovery Trail is the main recreation trail exploring west to east in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada.

The 31+ kilometre long community recreation trail connects with parks, picnic day use areas, wetlands, farmlands, viewpoints, dykes, marshes and green space areas. The park visits neighbourhoods, schools, attractions and provides access to small retail areas.

The Discovery Trail is a popular route for sightseeing the community of Abbotsford. The trail route is popular for biking, hiking, jogging, picnicking, birdwatching, horseback riding and rollerblading. And because large sections of the trail is paved the route enjoys sections which are wheelchair and baby stroller friendly.

The Discovery Trail enjoys many access points. One can access the trail from parks and from side streets. The trail route is divided into 5 sections. The developed sections of the Discovery Trail are paved. The undeveloped gravel trails are under construction and maintenance.

(1) Gardner Park to Exhibition Park

The Discovery Trail from Gardner Park to Exhibition Park measures about 10 kilometres and connects to the Fishtrap Creek Park, Gardner Park, MacLure Park, Clearbrook Park and Exhibition Park.

(2) Exhibition Park to Willband Creek & Clearbrook to Townline

The Discovery Trail from Exhibition Park to Willband Creek measures about 6 kilometres and connects to the Old Riverside Park, Gladwin Park and the Willband Park. The trail from Clearbrook to Townline measures about 3.5 kilometres. This section of the trail connects to the Townline Park, Homestead Park and the Upper Enns Brook Park.

(3) Willband Creek to Whatcom Road

The Discovery Trail from Willband Creek to Whatcom Road measures about 6 kilometres and connects to the Saddle Park, Lower Sumas Mountain Park, Cassair Park and the Willband Park.

(4) Whatcom Road to Mackay Creek

The Discovery Trail from Whatcom Road to Mackay Creek measures about 5.5 kilometres and explores along the banks of Marshall Creek and the Sumas River.

(5) Clearbrook to Douglas Taylor Park (5.5 kms)

The Discovery Trail from Clearbrook to Douglas Taylor Park measures about 5.5 kilometres and connects to the Douglas Taylor Park and Clearbrook Park.
