The reason for the park`s popularity is due to the fact that the park enjoys a white sandy beach, quality marine scenery and is connected to a popular waterfront seawalk.
Along the waterfront of Dundarave Park is a paved pathway and a 50 metre long sandy beach. The park is the main trailhead entrance to the waterfront paved pathway which is referred to as the Centennial Seawalk.

The sandy waterfront beach attracts people to the park for some quality time spent swimming and sunbathing. Both the beach and the path provide a great opportunity for sightseeing the community and waterfront marine activity.
Other services and amenities in the Dundarave Park include a wading pool. playground, concession stand (summer only), washrooms, sightseeing benches, outdoor shower and a day use picnic area.
