Cemetery Trail is a forested mountain biking trail located east of the community of Rossland, BC in the Kootenay region of British Columbia, Canada. The trail is a 2.7 kilometre one-way route exploring through a forest of trees. It is a short trail connecting to other trails popular for mountain biking and hiking.
The Cemetery Trail is considered an intermediate trail with some difficult sections including switchbacks and hill climbing. The trail follows a single track terrain, a golf course road and an old wagon road. The trail includes some downhill riding and technical riding in the trees.
When exploring along the Cemetery Trail please watch for exposed tree roots and rocks especially along the single track gravel portion of the trail. The entire mountain biking and hiking route is well maintained and marked by trail posts. Please keep it that way and pick up after yourself and leave no trace behind.
The Cemetery Trail begins at the Old Mining School site east of downtown Rossland and ends at the Rossland Mountain Bike Skills Park. From one trailhead to the other the elevation gain is 200 metres. From the Old Mining School site mountain bikers and hikers can access further trails. Some of the mountain biking trails in the area include the Spring Cleaning, Sudden Exposure, Green Door, Back of KC and KC Ridge Trails.
