Everything you want in a restaurant near the harbor of Vancouver, the P2B Bistro

P2B Bistro & Bar Vancouver B.C. - Everything you want in a restaurant near the harbor of Vancouver, the P2B Bistro and Bar features beautiful views, a patio (with umbrellas), and a great food selection for the whole family. With ceiling-to-floor windows, families and guests can enjoy their meals and the view regardless of where they are seated or the weather!

Upon checking into the Pinnacle Hotel, in Vancouver, BC, each guest was given a $15 off coupon and a drink coupon to use at the restaurant. It should be noted that we used the %15% off coupon on our meal but did not use the drink coupons; we did leave those on a table for someone else to use.

Once we arrived at the restaurant, we were greeted by very friendly wait staff dressed in traditional waiter attire, like the ones you would see at a fancy restaurant. This was a very nice touch!  Each table also has a bottle of sparkling water in the middle for the guests to enjoy at extra cost. We opted out of this experience as we were in a rush.

When we visited just after 2:15 p.m., only one other party was seated, and one additional party came when we were there. However, during lunchtime, the restaurant is slow. This may be beneficial to families with children who do not want a lot of people around! Several seating options, including booths and tables, are available throughout the restaurant, as well as regular-sized and large barstools. On the far side of the restaurant sits a pretty decent-sized bar. I appreciate that this is available, but away from the more family-friendly areas!

P2B Bistro & Bar Vancouver B.C. Menu

P2B Bistro and Bar has a great selection of items for everyone's palate. Their menu does vary depending on the time of day. Breakfast options range from a daily breakfast buffet to served French toast. At lunch, there is everything from fish tacos to tufo bowls, and dinner offers a selection of steaks, soups, and burgers.
When we visited during lunch, the average dish cost around $24.00, but remember that hotel guests do get a $15.00 coupon, which helps. It should be noted, though, that the coupon fine print mentions that there are only two coupons per table!

It was hard to choose as everything on the menu sounded very good.  However, there were no images on the menu, though there were on their Google business page, which helped me out a lot as someone with a communication disorder.

Special requests at P2B P2B Bistro & Bar

One thing I love to eat anywhere I go is Tuna poke bowls, but raw tuna makes me ill, so finding places that support substitutions is always very exciting!  So when I saw a Tuna Poke bowl on their menu and Tofu under the options for salad proteins, I had to try it!  Fully prepared to either explain why I wanted it substituted or ready to choose something else, to my surprise, our waiter told us it would be no issue when I asked, which excited me!

The crispy tufo was perfect when the dish came, which I unfortunately don't say too often!
This is a fantastic option that should be known about P2B, as they were the most accommodating I have seen in a while for this special request. vegetarians or vegans would love this option as well!

Kids Menu

On top of a very diverse and planned menu for the grown-ups in the group, P2B also has two fantastic kid menus that most children would enjoy. It is essential to mention that their kids' menu only goes up to 12, and the staff I asked about exceptional circumstances for this was unsure, so they may or may not support older children who need kid menu items. Something unique about the kid's menu is that they have specific "fun drinks" for the children to order, at a reasonable price of $2 on top of the $15 kids' menu. Perfect for families who are making a Vancouver trip!

P2B conclusion from a non-drinkers perspective

I usually feel uncomfortable in any place with the word "bar" attached, as I do not drink. However, I felt like I was in a higher-class restaurant and enjoyed my time here. From the floor-to-ceiling views of trees and the glimpse of the Pacific Ocean and cruise ship terminal to the food and atmosphere, this is on my not-to-miss list in Vancouver.  I could see people coming from cruise ships eating here as a break, or even locals going here for a treat!
5 stars from me!
