NWT / Alberta Border EH!

The Alberta / NWT Border entrance is head and shoulders above the BC / NWT Border.

It was not long ago we were exploring along gravel highways with ruts, pot holes and mud flying while on the Liard Hwy entering NWT from BC.

The border entrance to NWT in Alberta, for starts, is a paved highway.  Ah.. big difference.  There is also an information centre with a water fountain, outdoor artifacts, flags, washroom, convenience store and a nice big sign welcoming everyone to NWT.
