2025 Downtown Kelowna Holiday Light Up.
This year we unveiled our new 40-foot Christmas tree, creating the perfect backdrop for an evening filled with community, celebration, and holiday spirit.

Sonia and Wyeth came out to enjoy the festivities and made time to visit both Santa and the Grinch. The event saw a wonderful turnout, making it one of the most memorable light ups to date.

A highlight of the night was a surprise proposal on stage, and we are thrilled to share that she said yes.

Find Peace on Snow Covered Trails

Stunning Scenery for Hiking in Ontario, Canada

The snow is finally back, and the undeniable magic of the wilderness has returned with it. Lately, scrolling through my camera roll from last winter's adventures has me itching to get back out there. There is something profound about the silence of a forest in Canada that simply resets the soul. Peace is found in the absolute stillness of the trees.

Furthermore, the experience provides a perfect, quiet escape from the daily grind. The crunch of boots on snow is heard clearly with every step. That crisp northern air fills your lungs, making you feel truly alive. Great serenity is offered by the frozen landscape. The usual summer frustrations are completely gone. No bugs are encountered on the trail during these cold months. Just you, the scenery, and the open path remain.

Consequently, the raw beauty of nature is enjoyed without any distractions. Ontario hiking offers a unique escape that revitalizes the spirit like nothing else. The stunning scenery is transformed by a heavy blanket of white. Finally, are you ready to join the adventure? Snowshoes are being dusted off by outdoor enthusiasts this weekend. Do not let this season pass you by. Therefore, grab your gear and witness the wonder of winter for yourself.

    • Anja Cahill, go out on a nice sunny day and put your face to the sun. It's wonderful to be outside after being inside for weeks.

  • Are you serious - you got to help drive the train?!? That is soooo cool I was wondering who got to ride inside the restored carriages - I figured it might be volunteers and their families? Wow!!
