Gibbons Park is a real treasure in Central North London, Ontario with it's big green spaces, gorgeous old trees and a lovely bridge over the North Thames River.

This park has a long walking path, or cycling, or roller blade path along the Thames River from just north of Oxford Street right through the University of Western Ontario Campus. This 58 acre park offers an ideal environment in which to walk, jog or bike with friends.

Double your fun by bringing along the dog as the park offers open fields, trails and brush to explore with man’s best friend.

Trails both paved and natural make Gibbons Park easily accessible for all.

In terms of play, Gibbons Park has lots to offer including three tennis courts and a heated outdoor swimming pool. Kids will love the splash pad and playground area for a guaranteed good time!

With a field house, picnic shelters and picnic tables for large get-togethers with family and friends, why not make a full day of it?

A relaxing place to just sit on the benches amongst giant 100 year old willow trees and gaze out onto the river where you'll see ducks and geese and maybe even a deer or two. The bridge over the North Thames River is a popular spot for photographers with scenic views and entertaining ducklings.

Bird lovers be sure bring your binoculars and camera as the resident birds in Gibbons Park include the Baltimore Oriole, Mallards, Pine Warbler, Swallows, Great Horned Owls and occasionally the Great Blue Herron and Osprey will make an appearance.

Take exit 186 for Wellington Road toward London/Centre-ville/Downtown for 11.9 kms - turn left onto Pall Mall Street then turn right onto Richmond Street and then left onto Victoria Street. The park will be on your left.
