The Pigeon River Provincial Park measures about 949 hectares (2345 acres). The large park and river valley are well known for its deep gorges, rock walls, waterfalls, white water river rapids and canyon cliffs.

Thunder Bay

The highlight of the site is High Falls. The cascading waterfall measures - at its peak - 55 metres (150 ft.) and forms part of the Onaping River which eventually empties into the Sudbury Basin. In 1953 A.Y. Jackson (one of the "Group of Seven" artists) visited High Falls and created a painting.

Dowling

The main Cup and Saucer Trail leads hikers and sightseers to some jaw-dropping views from on top of limestone cliffs which form part of the Niagara Escarpment. The Cup and Saucer includes over 12 kilometres of hiking trails in total.

The conservation area is best explored along a vast network of recreation trails measuring 25 kilometres in total and a select few access roads like the Lynx Road and Fisher Lake Trail.

Centennial Park just off Grimsby's Main Street East is a lovely rolling green space backing onto the Niagara Escarpment.

The provincial park measures 5,294 hectares. The main part of the park centres around Fushimi Lake. Surrounding the lake are more lakes, rivers and a boreal forest consisting of spruce, poplar, balsam, birch and eastern white cedar trees.
