Lowville Park in North Burlington is a great little find. It’s free to enter. Ample free parking, washrooms with running water and soap, swings, nature trails, baseball diamonds, rain shelters and lots and lots of picnic tables under big shady trees. It’s a perfect place to relax, barbecue, take a nap and go for a little exploratory walk.

Bronte Creek runs through Lowville, offering kids a wet wonderland where they can splash, fish for crawfish (Hint: look under the rocks) and practice skipping rocks. Be sure to pack water shoes for the kids, plus buckets, nets and scoops to add to the fun.
