Camrose, Alberta, Canada is an event and activity destination located in the Stoney Creek Valley in Central Alberta. The area is considered a transitional geography zone positioned in between the grasslands of the prairies and the trees of the boreal forest.
The community is situated on the shores of Mirror Lake and on the banks of Camrose Creek. The lake and creek form part of the Stoney Creek Valley. The valley is a developed recreational greenspace region complete with recreation facilities, parks and trails.
The valley is a popular destination for many activities and adventures. During the summer months some of the the activities enjoyed in Camrose include golfing, walking, canoeing, fishing, jogging, mountain biking, birdwatching, picnicking, swimming and kayaking.
