The Hoodoo Trail is an easy going, moderately long hiking trail located near the Village of Banff, Alberta, Canada in the Banff National Park. The trail features some river, cliff, mountain and hoodoo sightseeing while hiking a forested trail along the banks of the Bow River.

The Hoodoo Trail measures 5 kilometres one-way and is considered an easy going trail with some sections of challenging terrain. The route enjoys an elevation gain of only 100 metres and should take between 3-4 hours return to complete.

The Hoodoo Trail in Banff National Park is a single track wilderness trail following along a, mostly, dirt and earthy trail along the banks of the Bow River. There are sections of the trail with exposed tree roots and boulders. Some sections are slippery and, sometimes, muddy. Much of the route is forested.

The highlights of the Hoodoo Trail, are obvious - the hoodoos. Hoodoos are best viewed from the banks of the Bow River on the north end of the trail. The rest of the route enjoys many views of the Bow River, mountains and forests.

The Hoodoo Trail's south trailhead (main entrance) is located at Surprise Point at the south end of the Bow River Trail over looking Bow Falls. The northern trailhead, the site of the hoodoos, is accessed from Tunnel Mountain Road near the campground.

At the northern end of the trail there is a small loop section which brings you back to the main parking lot at Surprise Corner.
