Rowan's Ravine Provincial Park is a recreation and beach destination situated on the shores of Last Mountain Lake located northwest of the City of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Regina, Saskatchewan photo galleryThe sandy beach in the park is unique and is one of Saskatchewan's longest sandy beaches. It is unique in that all of the trees are planted by hand. What was once a naked landscape is now a popular green space provincial park.

Established in 1960, the Rowan's Ravine Provincial Park is a well developed and maintained park. The beach area in the park was created around a long sandy point. The sandy point provides protection from the winds therefore there is always one side of the sandy beach protected from the elements.

A popular destination for many summer activities including swimming, beachcombing, sun bathing, kayaking, canoeing, boating, fishing, water skiing, wake boarding, jet boating, sailing, wind surfing, parasailing, birdwatching, hiking and picnicking.

Rowan's Ravine Provincial Park includes a day use area and two full service campgrounds. The day use area includes picnic tables, BBQ pits and a playground. It is located on a large patch of green grass lawn, under a canopy of trees, next to the sandy beach. There are some picnic shelters also available which require booking.

Other services and amenities in the park include a public boat launch, marina, washrooms, cabin rentals and a restaurant, general store and a concession stand serving snacks and drinks during summer hours.

There is a hiking trail within the park ideal for sightseeing, hiking and birdwatching called the Prairie Whispers Trail. It is a self guided trail with information signs and sitting benches exploring a ravine.

The Prairie Whispers Trail begins near the marina parking lot. The trail can be completed by following either one of 2 loop routes.

Loop A (1.2 km) is short trail staying close to the north shore of the ravine before looping back along the south shore of the ravine to Last Mountain Lake.

Loop B (2.7 km) follows the north side of the ravine, crossing a road, before looping back through a forest and low lying shrubs to the shores of Last Mountain Lake.
