Crescent Park - Moose Jaw

Crescent Park is a well maintained, green space downtown Moose Jaw park popular for birdwatching, sightseeing and relaxing. 

Located in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. Crescent Park measures over 28 acres. The park is situated on the banks of Spring Creek surrounded by good tree cover therefore it is well hidden from the sights and sounds of downtown Moose Jaw, Sask., Canada.

canonrebelIn Crescent Park there is a paved pathway with sightseeing benches and picnic tables. The paved pathway follows the banks of the creek and is part of the community trail system called the Rotary Trails of Moose Jaw.

The grounds of Crescent Park are covered in beautifully maintained green grass lawns. Sprawled across the park lawns are various monuments and flower gardens like a time capsule, cenotaph and the Queen Elizabeth Rose Garden.

Up and down Spring Creek there are a series of water fountains blasting water high into the air. At the far end of the park there is a rock wall waterfall. The impressive waterworks and trees attract the waterfowl and songbirds to Crescent Park.

Being in downtown Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada, Crescent Park is neighbors to a museum, art gallery and public library. One can relax in the park and then treat themselves to some art and culture.
