The Punch Bowl Falls is a sightseeing destination located near the community of Jasper, Alberta, Canada in the Jasper National Park. The falls are easily accessible and provide some waterfall moments without much effort.
The Punch Bowl Falls consists of a short forested hiking trail leading to some natural viewpoints and a wooden foot bridge. The views look out over a mountain creek falling over some crags and cliffs, eventually dropping into a series of small pools.
Over time the creek has eroded a narrow channel in the rock creating some unique rock formations.
Along the same gravel mountain road leading to the Punch Bowl Falls is a sightseeing viewpoint which you may also want to check out named the Ashlar Ridge Viewpoint.
