Cape St. Mary's Ecological Reserve is a 64 km² reserve located on the southwest tip of the Avalon Peninsula of Newfoundland and home to one of North America's largest seabird colonies.During the breeding season it is said to be home to over 24,000 Northern gannet, 20,000 black-legged kittiwake, 20,000 common murre, and 2,000 thick-billed murre. And it doesn't stop there either. There have also been spotted some razorbill, northern fulmar, black guillemot, and double-crested cormorant. To access the viewpoint there is a 1 kilometre foot path to the cliffs.
