Diamond Tooth Gerties Gambling Hall

Gold Rush Casino Dawson City

Dancing girls, live entertainment, gaming tables, slots and my brother

What a pleasant step back in time visiting Diamond Tooth Gerties Gambling Hall in Dawson City Yukon Territory. So much here I did not know about. What a beautiful place in the north. I feel like a trapper and miner combined. Life in the Yukon… have to try this some time. I can see me liking it very much.

Try your luck at Gerties Casino

Diamond Tooth Gerties Gambling Hall

Gerties Casino and Saloon is the most popular attraction in the community of Dawson City, Yukon we were told. Now and back in the Gold Rush Era as well. When my brother and I arrived we did not really know what to expect. Walking through the doors, we were greeted by bartenders and servers dressed in gold rush era costumes. Piano man was belting out the keys. Slot machines were singing. The hum of conversation hung in the air.

Live Shows

Everything about the Northern Canada attraction is set in the early 1900’s. On this night we were treated to some live shows with dancers and singers.  We threw some dice. We placed some chips. The winnings never did come. The drinks did. So not a bad night after all.

Dawson City Bus Tours

Diamond Tooth Gerties Gambling Hall is very popular for bus tours.  On our visit there were 3 tour buses  entering the Casino. What a journey they must of had getting here. However, I mean that as a good thing because the scenery is drop dead beautiful. If you like road tripping this is a destination at the end of a great road trip to the Arctic.

The guests are now the entertainment.
