Musket Island is a popular docking point for boaters and as an overnight camping destination for kayakers. Musket Island can be reached by pleasure boats or by kayaks from the launching points located in Saltery Bay, Earls Cove and in Egmont.

The Willingdon Beach Trail is a 1.2 km trail. The Willingdon Beach Trail has some exposed beach walking opportunities. Willingdon Beach Park has parking, concession stand, museum, waterpark and grassy area.

Armours Beach is a popular beach close to the village of Gibsons. Armours also provides a small wharf, a picnic area, a clubhouse and is home to the local populations "Polar Bear Swim"

The 142 hectare Sargeant Bay Provincial Park was designated as a protected area because of the fragile coastline ecology of the area including the exposed marine life at low tide, the rocky headlands and the forested uplands area.
