The Woodland Caribou Provincial Park geography is a combination of the Canadian Shield and boreal forest nestled in an Arctic watershed environment. The park is best known for its summer adventures which include wilderness backcountry camping, fishing, canoeing and wildlife watching.

Some of the more popular activities enjoyed on the lake include boating, sailing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, water skiing, wildlife watching, birdwatching and fishing for northern pike, walleye, perch, smallmouth bass, lake trout, sturgeon and muskellunge.

Kenora

The highlights of the park include whitewater rapids, three sandy beaches and the many water sport activities enjoyed on Dogtooth Lake. The whitewater rapids plummet down from Dogtooth Lake to Blindfold Lake.

The highlights of the park include the lake, the sandy beach, the water activities and camping. The park`s waterfront is a long sandy beach and is well known for its warm waters. The sandy beach has a roped off swimming area with a floating dock.

Sioux Narrows

Aaron Provincial Park measures about 116 hectares (286 acres) in size and has become a popular park destination in the region. The park is highlighted by two sandy beaches, water activities and a campground.

Highlights of Pither's Point Park are the sandy beach, the "Big Chair", the campground, the "Hallett" logging boat and the many various water sport activities.

The Aspen Trails includes loop trails and a one-way trail leading out to the lookout. The trails measure anywhere from 4 to 12 kilometres long and could take 40 to 190 minutes to complete depending on the routes explored and the fitness level of the group.

The Ojibway Provincial Park measures over 2,630 hectares (6,499 acres) and is, largely considered a natural environment. The highlights of the park include a sandy beach, campground, hiking trails and a wide selection of water activities.

Portage Bay Recreation Area is located west of the Community of Kenora, Ontario, Canada. The region is best known for its ball fields, tennis courts, skateboard park and the Mink Bay Trails.

Pakwash Lake, during the summer season, is known for its warm and shallow waters which tends to attract many to the park for water sport activities. The lake itself measures over 9800 hectares so there is lots of room to play.

The hiking trails explore three eco systems measuring approximately 5 kilometres in total consisting, of mostly, forested hikes with good signage and lookout platforms

McKenzie Portage Road

Kenora

The loop route measures around 6 kilometres long. The total time taken to walk the loop trail ranges from 35 to 75 minutes depending on your groups fitness levels and rest stops.

Nestor Falls

The community park is a managed forest measuring 6 hectares (15 acres). Throughout the park there are large grass lawns, a playground and some recreation trails popular for hiking and mountain biking.
