East Bluff Lookout in the Harold Noble Memorial Park is a very popular sightseeing destination providing views overlooking Gore Bay and the North Channel.

The highlight of the site is High Falls. The cascading waterfall measures - at its peak - 55 metres (150 ft.) and forms part of the Onaping River which eventually empties into the Sudbury Basin. In 1953 A.Y. Jackson (one of the "Group of Seven" artists) visited High Falls and created a painting.

Samuel de Champlain Provincial Park attracts travelers and locals who enjoy adventures during the summer season like canoeing, fishing, camping, boating, hiking, swimming, sightseeing, birding, wildlife watching and photography.

The main Cup and Saucer Trail leads hikers and sightseers to some jaw-dropping views from on top of limestone cliffs which form part of the Niagara Escarpment. The Cup and Saucer includes over 12 kilometres of hiking trails in total.

Decorating the paths are many sightseeing benches which come in handy when birding or listening to the many song birds which frequent the park. Amenities in the Sunnidale Park include a large children's playground, pit toilets, parking lot, off leash dog area and the Dorian Parker Centre.

The Escarpment Rail Trail is a multi-use trail developed on an abandoned CN line. The trail extends from above the escarpment near Albion Falls, to the lower city.

Some of the more popular activities enjoyed on the lake include boating, sailing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, water skiing, wildlife watching, birdwatching and fishing for northern pike, walleye, perch, smallmouth bass, lake trout, sturgeon and muskellunge.

Heritage Park is one of the many sightseeing park destinations located along the waterfront in Barrie on the shores of Kempenfelt Bay. The park is home to duck ponds, beautiful floral gardens, art structures and one of the most unique water splash parks in Ontario.

Norman Park includes a day use area with picnic tables and a picnic shelter. There is a playground nearby creating a great setting for families. Other features of the park include a roped off swimming area, sightseeing benches, large grass lawns and washrooms.
