McLeese Lake, BC, Canada in Central Cariboo-Chilcotin Region, British Columbia, Canada is a recreation destination located north of Williams Lake, BC, Canada and south of Quesnel BC. The lake is easily accessible and easily found as it neighbours the main highway in the region. It is not hard to miss.

McLeese Lake is a destination that is popular year round. In the summer people enjoy water sports like swimming, boating, sun tanning, canoeing and fishing. Do you prefer land then there is hiking, camping, horseback riding and offroading in the surrounding hills. In the winter the trails become snowmobile and cross country skiing routes while the lake becomes a skating rink and an ice fishing destination.

Mcleese Lake is a beautiful lake. If you are just passing through there is a good viewpoint of the lake with picnic tables and beach located along the highway at a pull out rest stop. For travelers, staying awhile, there is some resort accommodations and a campground nearby on the lake. For boaters there is a boat launch at the south and north end of the lake.

Fishing is popular on McLeese Lake. It is said to be a good lake for rainbow and kokanee trout and the odd whitefish. Most boaters prefer trolling the lake as shore fishing is very limited and often the activity on shore is very active.

For the traveler McLeese Lake provides many of the services required for a successful trip like gas stations, grocery store, a cafe, ATM, pub, restaurants, post office and general store.
