The Historic Grant Hall Hotel in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan Canada is an elegant hotel that took years of hard work and millions of dollars to restore. Grant Hall is absolutely stunning today.
Built in 1927 and named after the V.P. of Canadian Pacific Railway, the original Hotel was active for over 60 years closing in 1989. The 5 story hotel fell into disrepair and was almost demolished until 2001 when Verna Alford purchased it for $1. All 115 windows were smashed, and the basement had 3 feet of putrid water. When Verna took her mother to see what she bought for a dollar, Verna's mother told her to go get her money back. It was going to be a daunting task to restore Grant Hall. Verna and her brothers Erwin and Alvin put years of hard work and 14 million dollars into making Grant Hall what it is today, one of Saskatchewan's finest hotels. Grant Hall is now under new ownership and is truly a must-visit destination in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

The Animal Bridges in Alberta, Canada are an amazing accomplishment that has saved the lives of both wildlife and humans by giving the animals a safe passage over the busy highways.
The video is of the new Animal Bridge near Canmore, Alberta, and adds to Banff National Park having 44 wildlife crossing structures, 6 overpasses, and 38 underpasses.
Along with these valuable crossings, there are 82 km of highway fencing protecting wildlife from the highways. With all these crossings and highway fencing, Banff National Park has the most in the world in a single location.

Stumpy, is an affectionate nickname given to a 3 legged Bobcat in the N.E. community of Beddington in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Stumpy is somewhat of a celebrity in neighbourhood as humans have nothing to fear, but keep your cats indoors and watch your small dogs, even in their own backyards.
Although Stumpy looks a little underweight, she will find food easier in the warmer months to come and beef back up again. Stumpy is a very good jumper and quite capable of hopping into your backyard or perching herself on your fence waiting for some small prey to come by. Including your cats and small dogs. We live with wildlife so protect your pets and do not leave them unattended outside.
I had heard of Stumpy for years but had never seen her until today when she decided to visit our neighbourhood.
A wonderful wildlife in the city moment!
