After a fall and a concussion that forced a delay, Dana Meise of The Great Hike will reach the Arctic Ocean tomorrow November 15th, 2018. completing his incredible hike to all 3 of Canada's oceans along The Trans Canada Trail.

Dana's latest post: 'Well everyone tomorrow is the big day. I can't believe I'm here. Managed 41km today despite a new challenge. I was wrong about yesterday it wasn't -37C but -45C with windchill and trust me windchill matters up here. I've worked in that kind of cold before but I was in trees. I can't begin to explain how truly brutal it was. In fact my frostbite turned out to be worse than I thought. My skin blistered then turned black. It hurts but I padded it up and hiked on.
Gotta give a HUGE SHOUT-OUT to the people of Tuktoyaktuk without them I may not have succeeded. They constantly stop to see if I'm ok offering food and water. Donna the tourism manager from the Hamlet of Tuktoyaktuk took me back to the trail today then picked me up which I'm eternally grateful.
I had some cool visitors today as well. Thank you Gabriela from CBC who found me and we had a nice video shoot. Just when we were working some cool cats out for a drive stopped by and we chatted it up for a bit.'

Let's cheer on this Great Canadian!
