Start your hike on the Upper Kananaskis lake loop. A few kms in and there is a fork with a trail going up to Rawson Lake. It's an easy to moderate hike up. Beautiful trail through the trees that eventually opens up to this beautiful view. This trail is known for Grizzly bear activity every year, and the trail tends to get closed for some time through the summer to allow the bears to do their thing.
Excellent lake to fish. Lots of trout up here.
