Held in it's own room, the "Wreck Room" the details of the events of April 14, 1912, can be reviewed solemnly and respectfully, including a replica of how the ship lies in her final resting place approximately 700km south-southeast of the museum. The RMS Titanic was approximately 400 miles south of Newfoundland when it struck an iceberg. Visitors who would prefer not to experience this history can bypass this room.
