What makes this specific spot so incredibly special to me is the journey to reach it. Leaving the main viewing area and taking that short hike down into the sheltered depths of the ravine along the Bruce Trail completely changes the vibe. Suddenly, the sounds of the town fade away, replaced by the roar of water twisting through the forest. Emerging by the edge of the creek to see the water tumbling over those rugged, mossy limestone steps is a reward that never gets old, no matter how many times I hike it.
