DESCRIPTION:For almost 50 years, Toronto has kicked of the holiday season with the Cavalcade of Lights, a festive evening at Toronto City Hall that features the illumination of Toronto’s official Christmas tree. There will be performances by top Canadian musical talent, a fireworks show and skating party at Nathan Phillips Square, a public area outside of the city hall.\nThe Cavalcade of Lights is free to attend and fun for the whole family!\n\nFestivities begin at 7 pm when musicians will hit the stage, then shortly before the fireworks which begin at 8 pm the massive Christmas Tree will be lit. The concert continues at 8:15 and ice skating opens up to all. Remember your ice skates and dress warmer than you think you should as chances are the temperature will be below freezing. \nNathan Phillips Square is wheelchair and scooter accessible\n
