Day 2 of Rockin’ Thunder Edmonton brought another full day of live rock music to the Exhibition Lands Racetrack in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The two-day festival ran July 11–12, 2026, with Day 2 featuring Creed, Mammoth, Buckcherry, Paul Langlois and Chiliø, along with more live music on the YEG Rocks stage.
Mammoth was one of my biggest surprises of the weekend. I had never really listened to them before and walked away an instant fan. Buckcherry was another favourite, with fantastic stage energy and a crowd that was clearly loving their set.
Day 2 also brought another Alberta storm and a short evacuation, although the festival quickly got back underway. Around the grounds we explored food trucks, merchandise, sponsor displays, games and both festival stages. All while discovering that rubber boots were probably the smartest footwear choice of the weekend.
Rockin’ Thunder offered single-day and weekend ticket options, with General Admission and upgraded premium experiences available. The festival combined major rock headliners with smaller-stage performances and plenty to explore between sets.

Not only could you purchase cannabis products from the PlantLife booth, but concert goers were welcome to sit and relax in the SHRED Weed and BoxHot area while lighting up.
