The view of the Narrows from the Ladies' Lookout is unbelievable. To the left is the North Atlantic Ocean, the Narrows are in the centre of the photo, while St. John's Harbour is just off to the right. Incredible view, definitely worth the climb.

What looks like a small prairie home is in fact the Queen's Battery, complete with canons on the front lawn! Although I'm not sure if these ones are in working condition, the gun outside Cabot Tower is fired everyday at noon.

The views from Signal Hill are incredible no matter which direction you are looking. From outside Cabot Tower looking to the west, you can see where the St. John's Harbour. The colourful vessels and seaside homes give the town a cheery atmosphere.
