<\/a>Happy Canada Day eh!<\/p><\/div>\n
On July 1st, 2013 we, as a nation of Crazy Canucks,\u00a0celebrate Canada Day throwing a big party honoring\u00a0the country of Canada as proud Canadians.<\/p>\n
Across the country Canada Day is a, flag waving, tooting our own horn type\u00a0festival held in almost every community in every province and territory across the country. It is our day to proudly proclaim, “WE ARE CANADIAN!”<\/p>\n
Many of the events and festivals held on Canada Day begin early and continue long into the night concluding with a fireworks demonstration. However… due to budget cut backs, there are less and less fireworks being held in the larger communities. This is fine with us… because we are easy to please and happy to just celebrate being Canadian and that is enough to fulfill our Canada Day expectations.<\/p>\n
The events across the country vary from community to community. There are a wide range of events planned across the country. Some of the Canada Day festivities include ceremonies, singing, dancing, concerts, speeches, games, races, competitions, eating, beer gardens, art, face painting and, of course, fireworks. Some Canadians even go as far as body painting.<\/p>\n
