But the first thing on our minds when we arrived and at the top of our wish list at the time was a shower.<\/p>\n<p>The drive to Yellowknife took us through some beautiful scenery &#8211; but a different kind of scenery than we are use to.\u00a0 A scenery our eyes had never seen before &#8211; the Canadian Shield.\u00a0\u00a0 It\u00a0 was barren, red and smooth.\u00a0 It went on for many, many kilometres.\u00a0\u00a0 And to know its history we looked forward\u00a0 to. It did not disappoint.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0 hike we enjoyed so far while in Yellowknife is the\u00a0 Cameron Falls Hiking Trail.\u00a0 When we hiked it &#8211; it was a beautiful day. W e had the whole hike to ourselves as we met no one.\u00a0\u00a0 And walking along some of the shield was like walking on the moon.\u00a0\u00a0 Here is a picture of me on the hike with the waterfall in the corner.<\/p>\n<p>Eh, I enjoyed this one.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello Yellowknife, NWT!
