It often provides sights and sounds we did not plan on researching as we were not aware of its existence.<\/p>\n<p>This was such a day. During our trip while researching some of the other parks and trails in the\u00a0 Dawson City region we could see high up on the mountain a fire lookout tower.\u00a0 Hmmm&#8230; it caught our attention and stimulated our explorer within &#8211; so using our navigation system we located the road that would lead us to the top and some fantastic views of Dawson City.<\/p>\n<p>At the top of the mountain\u00a0 was a wooden platform viewing deck and a massive fire lookout tower.\u00a0 Here is a picture of\u00a0 Bro climbing the massive tower..\u00a0 only partially to capture a picture\u00a0 because I do not believe we were permitted to climb to the top&#8230; plus it was real high.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Exploring the back country is often the best time when researching a community for our websites.
