The original posting date of this story was July 2008. I have decided to share some of my early stories in my career as a tourism researcher, marketer and writer. It was a treat to look back in time, back in the years when I first started to embark on my new career as a co-bro owner of BCeh.com at the time. These are posts well, before ehCanadaTravel.com became a reality. However, it is an eyes-wide-open experience discovering parts of Canada for the first time.

Dawson City from Crocus Bluff Trail Viewpoint

Crocus Bluff Hiking Trail

Went for a hike along the Crocus Bluff Trail in Dawson City, Yukon today. Needed some fresh air and a good stretch of my legs. It was not a challenging walking trail in the least but it serves up some great views over looking Dawson City, Yukon Territory. Just getting outdoors is medicine.

Therapeutic Relaxation

Hiking clears my head. And I was in the mood for some relaxing time. Or would it be better described as relaxation therapy. Either or I decided to explore the Crocus Bluff Trail on this cloudy day. So on this short adventure I could get in a mild work out and then lay back and enjoy some quiet time while enjoying the views of the valley.

Lookout Crocus Bluff Trail

At the end of the trail is a large lookout. A family was enjoying the space. Well.. me being me, I was not here to socialize. I was here to relax and let nature take my mind away. Therefore I needed a new spot to crouch. I found a nice rock shaped chair. Perfect! My living room window was now below the lookout platform. Front row seats. It was grand and the views were far reaching.

For more information about this Dawson City walking trail please click here.

Enjoying my rock with views in the background.

Day on the Crocus Bluff Hiking Trail

Dawson City, Yukon Territory

“Leave No Tourism Business Behind”

18,000+ pages & 16,000+ photos/videos

Greg Girard is a co founding brother of the award winning adventure and travel website and blog ehCanadaTravel.com, as well as, the co founder of the EH?
