Lewis Park - Courtenay, BC, Canada

Lewis Park is a small community park located in the community of Courtenay, BC in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. The park is situated on the banks of the Puntledge River - next door to the shops and stores located in downtown Courtenay.

Two large Totem Poles mark the entrance of the park. The entrance is near the bridge connecting Comox and Courtenay. At the entrance there is a large paved parking lot which is RV friendly. The park is easily seen from the road.

Lewis Park includes large grass lawns, baseball diamonds, skateboard park, some sitting benches, a playground, spray park, picnic tables and a pool. The main activities enjoyed in the park include baseball, picnicking, skateboarding and swimming.

During the year the park is also home to many events, tournaments and festivals.

How To Get ToLewis Park

:
Travel Highway #1 to the community of Courtenay, BC on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. Travel the Inland Highway (Oceanside Route) towards the downtown core of Courtenay and cross the bridge. On the other side of the bridge take a quick left into the park's parking lot.
