Alberta, Canada Snowmobiling

There are over 5000 kilometres of sledding trails in Alberta. Most are groomed every year which adds to the popularity of the sport in the province. The trails explore all sorts of terrain including mountain ranges, frozen rivers, boreal forest, foothills, grassland prairie, canyons, and the hoodoos and coulees of the Canadian Badlands. In addition to the groomed trails there are also many kilometres of wilderness trails approved for sledding leading into the backcountry.
