The Red Deer River Nature Trail is a community pathway following the banks of the Red Deer River in the community of Drumheller, Alberta, Canada.

Drumheller, Alberta, Canada photo galleryThe recreation trail travels in an east-west direction - exploring from one end of the community to the other measuring about 15+ kilometres. The symbol for following the Red Deer River Nature Trail is Morris the Hike-asaurus.

The east side of the trail follows the southern banks of the Red Deer River while the west side follows along the northern banks of the river. There are sections of the trail exploring out in the open and sections exploring a forest of trees. Along the route there are many areas to access the banks of the river for fishing, canoeing and swimming.

The Red Deer River Nature Trail near Drumheller, Alberta, Canada is a paved and, sometimes, gravel trail popular for hiking, birdwatching, biking, jogging and roller blading. The trail is wheelchair and baby stroller friendly in many areas.
